Arthritis is a condition in which the joints of the body become painful, swollen, and stiff. It is usually caused by inflammatory diseases of the joints, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or gout. Arthritis can be caused by a variety of factors, such as age, genetic predisposition, or overuse. Painkillers, steroids, physiotherapy, and sometimes surgery are used to relieve pain. Paralysis is the inability or immobility of one or more parts of the body, which is caused by damage to the brain or nervous system. It can be of several types, such as facial paralysis (inability to move the facial parts), hemiparalysis (immobility of one side of the body), or partial paralysis (immobility of the lower part of the body). It can be caused by stroke, road accident, tumor, or neurological disease. Treatment requires physiotherapy, medication, and sometimes surgery. A neurologist is a doctor who treats diseases related to the nerves and brain. These specialists diagnose and treat diseases related to the brain, spine, and nerves, such as stroke, paralysis, epilepsy, migraine, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, etc. Neurologists usually diagnose patients and provide appropriate treatment through MRI, CT scan, EEG, and other tests.
